O novo álbum do Benediction foi lançado ontem, 16/10/2020, e é o primeiro registro da banda em 12 anos, sendo assim, algo muito aguardado pelos fãs.
Em poucos termos, "Scriptures" mostra uma banda com vontade de vencer novamente, músicos experientes que se entregaram com muita destreza para este trabalho, mantendo suas raízes e inovando com algumas nuances modernas (o que ao meu ver é ótimo, relevante e criativo).
Abrindo o álbum com "Iterations of I" vemos a qualidade imposta rapidamente, uma faixa cheia de elementos legais, pesada, cativante, entrega exatamente o que os fãs do estilo querem, além de mostrar a qualidade de produção.
Seguindo com "Scriptures In Scarlet", conseguem manter o ótimo nível, mostram a técnica apurada, assim como vemos em "The Croocked Man", dando a entender que estavam criativos em ter algo de qualidade por várias partes.
Em termos de produção vemos uma banda coesa, consistente, não deixando espaço para algo inútil, pelo contrário, temos um álbum muito bom e que também se faz forte e atual pela proposta.
"Rabid Carnality", "In Your Hands, The Scars", "Embrace The Kill" e "Neverwhen" são outras que indico e que certamente você irá aproveitar ao máximo, mas para um melhor entendimento, devo recomendar que ouca por completo.
O álbum é ótimo, tem personalidade, me fez lembrar em alguns momentos as linhas densas de bandas como Kataklysm executa nos dias atuais, além de flertar com elementos do Heavy, Thrash e até Punk (perceba em alguns momentos a ótima linha do baixo, por exemplo).
Outro ponto que devo destacar é a de manterem um alto nível de riffs, o trabalho de guitarras está impecável!

Benediction's new album is being released 16/10/2020, and it is the band's first record in 12 years, thus, something much awaited by fans. In a nutshell, "Scriptures" shows a band with the will to win again, experienced musicians who have given themselves very skillfully to this work, maintaining their roots and innovating with some modern nuances (which in my view is great, relevant and creative) .
Opening the album with "Iterations of I" we see the quality imposed quickly, a track full of cool elements, heavy, captivating, delivers exactly what fans of the style want, in addition to showing the quality of production.
Continuing with "Scriptures In Scarlet", they manage to maintain the excellent level, show the refined technique, as we see in "The Croocked Man", implying that they were creative in having something of quality for several parts.
In terms of production, we see a cohesive, consistent band, leaving no room for anything useless, on the contrary, we have a very good album that is also strong and up-to-date by the proposal.
"Rabid Carnality", "In Your Hands, The Scars", "Embrace The Kill" and "Neverwhen" are others that I recommend and that you will certainly enjoy to the fullest, but for a better understanding, I must recommend that you listen completely.
The album is great, it has personality, it reminded me at times of the dense lines of bands like Kataklysm performs nowadays, in addition to flirting with elements of Heavy, Thrash and even Punk (notice in some moments the great bass line, for example).
Another point that I must highlight is that of maintaining a high level of riffs, the guitar work is impeccable!
Listen, we are facing one of the best albums of 2020.
