Desta vez falamos com a banda brasileira Silent Saga.

1 - Como você começou a banda?
RENATO: Sabrina e eu temos uma formação muito musical. Começamos a nos envolver com música quando éramos crianças, então foi meio natural terminarmos escrevendo músicas juntos.
A primeira ideia era ter apenas um projeto de estúdio, mas a música começou a se espalhar e recebemos alguns convites para tocar, e aí ficamos tipo - por que não?E aqui estamos.
Voltamos a 2002, quando começamos a tocar no Brasil com o nome de Amazon. Depois de nos mudarmos para Hamburgo, Daniel e Carsten se juntaram à banda em 2017.
Eles tocavam no cenário local há décadas e se encaixavam perfeitamente na música e no estilo da banda.
Estamos trabalhando agora em nosso segundo álbum completo com a marca atual, e o quarto desde que começamos em 2002.
De volta ao Brasil, tivemos a chance de tocar com alguns dos maiores nomes do metal do país, como Shaman e Dr.Sin, e também como um ato de apoio para algumas das maiores bandas de FFM do mundo, como Nightwish e Epica.
2 - Pode o momento atual ser considerado o melhor da banda?
Com certeza! Fizemos muito progresso ao longo dos anos, então fomos capazes de desenvolver nossa música ainda mais e criar um som mais forte e característico que conquistamos a cada lançamento.
3 - O que você diria sobre sonoridade?onde mais você se encaixa nas influências adquiridas?
Nosso objetivo é fazer músicas cada vez mais pesadas, sem descuidar de melodias fortes e cativantes.
Fomos rotulados de várias coisas diferentes, do metal sinfônico ao metal moderno e outros. O importante para nós é, claro, não perder a identidade do som que gostamos de tocar.
Quanto às influências, temos vários elementos das grandes bandas de metal sinfônico e feminino, mas com algum toque "old school" no som, provavelmente porque eu pessoalmente sou um grande fã do rock e metal dos anos 80.
4 - Falando em processo de criação, quanto pensamento existe antes de criar um novo material.Existe um plano ou você deixa as ideias fluírem naturalmente?
É uma mistura dos dois. Enquanto deixamos as coisas fluírem, normalmente traçamos um plano em termos de cronograma, caso contrário, tudo se torna muito vago.
Mas não limitamos a música por causa disso.
5 - Você já pensou em tocar aqui na América do Sul?o público no Brasil é muito apaixonado por música!
Bem, veja acima! :) Somos originários do Brasil, embora atualmente estejamos baseados na Europa, e só podemos confirmar que o público brasileiro é WILD!
Adoraríamos tocar lá novamente, e com certeza faremos!
6 - Sabemos que o mercado da música não é mais o mesmo ... o que é preciso para se manter atualizado e relevante?
Criatividade, planejamento e tempo!
Para nós, a chave para permanecer relevante para nossa base de fãs é fazer músicas que fazem a diferença para os fãs. Procuramos escrever músicas que despertem algo no ouvinte, através da música e também da letra.

This time we spoke with the Brazilian band Silent Saga.

1 - How did you start the band?
RENATO: Sabrina and myself have very musical backgrounds. We started getting involved with music when we were kids, so it was kind of natural that we ended up writing music together.
The first idea was to have a studio project only, but the music started spreading and we received some invitations to perform, and then we were like - why not? And here we are.
We go all the way back to 2002, when we started playing in Brazil under the name of Amazon. After we relocated to Hamburg, Daniel and Carsten joined the band in 2017.
They had been playing in the local scene for decades and were the perfect fit to the band's music and style. We are now working on our second full length album under the current brand, and the 4th since we started in 2002.
Back in Brazil, we had the chance to play with some of the greatest metal names in the country, like Shaman and Dr.Sin, and also as a support act for some of the world's biggest FFM bands, like Nightwish and Epica.
2 - Can the current moment be considered the best of the band?
Definitely! We have made a lot of progress over the years, so we have been able to develop our music further and create a stronger, signature sound that we carve further with each release.
3 - What would you say about sonority? Where else do you fit into the acquired influences?
We aim to make heavier and heavier music, without neglecting strong and catchy melodies. We have been labeled a lot of different things, from symphonic metal to modern metal and so.
The important for us is of course not losing the identity of the sound that we enjoy playing. As for the influences, we have several elements of the big symphonic and female fronted metal bands, but with some kind of "old school" touch to the sound, probably because I am personally a huge fan of the 80's rock and metal.
4 - Speaking of creation process, how much thought is there before creating new material? Is there a plan or do you let ideas flow naturally?
It's aix of both. While we do let things flow, we normally lay down a plan in terms of timeline, otherwise it all becomes too vague. But we don't limit the music because of that.
5 - Have you ever thought of playing here in South America? Audiences in Brazil are very passionate about music!
Well, see above! :) We are originally from Brazil, although we're currently based in Europe, and we can only confirm that Brazilian audiences are WILD! We'd love to play there again, and we for sure will!
6 - We know that the music market is no longer the same ... what does it take to stay fresh and relevant?
Creativity, planning and time! For us, the key to staying relevant to our fan base has been making music that makes a difference for the fans.
We try to write music that awakens something in the listener, through the song and also the lyrics. If you check our material on our website silentsaga.com or on youtube.com/silentsaga you will see that we prefer to write about relevant and current topics, although sometimes we dress them up in metaphores.
Our music is all about the inner revolution!
