Há alguns dias pude ter contato com o novo álbum do Illumishade de forma antecipada e aliás, agradeço imensamente pela oportunidade cedida pela equipe da talentosa Fabienne Erni.
Hoje (15/5) "Eclyptic: Wake of Shadows" está sendo lançado e claro, com muita expectativa pois o projeto está muito bem desenvolvido há alguns meses.
Eu (Vinny) poderia ter divulgado anteriormente o material com minhas opiniões, mas como preferi "digerir" melhor as belas e criativas faixas, optei por soltar esse review na data oficial para o público.
Primeiramente devo mencionar o quanto os singles liberados anteriormente me encheram de orgulho, afinal; como não ficar satisfeito com tamanha dedicação e empenho destes excelentes músicos?!
A forma e dinâmicas abordadas aqui são de pessoas que entendem muito bem de estrutura melódica, escalas criativas/acessíveis, além de uma ótima sensação em cada execução.
Devo dizer que Fabi está impecável, suas variadas nuances suaves mostram o quanto a vocalista merece atenção no cenário mundial, aliás, o talento é algo inegável em sua pessoa (e após nossa entrevista e todo o contato feito; posso dizer que no lado pessoal essa ótima percepção também se faz presente).
O álbum se inicia tenso, climas épicos, grandes momentos orquestrados com maestria e Fabi com uma ótima desenvoltura, um ponto muito positivo para sua carreira, além da produção que supera as expectativas de qualquer fã exigente do cenário.
"Tales of Time" é um dos meus destaques, a faixa com vários momentos interessantes, desde seu lado melódico que aborda vocais acessíveis, criativos, à um duo muito legal que transita bem a agressividade e a doçura, consegue se manter bem e eficiente.
Lembra dos tons épicos que citei?você pode conferir muitos deles em "What Have I Become" com seus quase 6 minutos, cheia de vibrações e emoções que facilmente poderiam fazer parte de alguma série ou filme (sendo naturalmente uma "soundtrack").
Alguns interlúdios complementam muito bem o álbum, a forma de abordagem pega o ouvinte rapidamente e nos mostra o quanto essa banda precisava lançar um material completo.
Outra faixa que destaco é "Muse of Unknown Forces" por sua energia, além de ter uma ótima cadência entre o peso dos riffs inspirados ao clima natural que os vocais fazem (um ótimo balanço entre as notas altas e o clima denso que buscam ter como base).
É claro que os singles divulgados anteriormente também merecem a sua atenção, são essenciais na estrutura musical do Illumishase, sendo assim, uma ótima gama de opções para ouvidos apurados.
No geral, um álbum que funciona muito bem com as canções escolhidas e o cuidado em manter tantas melodias ricas... em alguns momentos parecem existir tantos "canais" de mix que você fica "perdido" em uma imensidão de sensações (e isso acho ótimo e interessante), uma verdadeira obra, e tudo isso passa pelas mãos de cada um dos envolvidos, pois trata-se de um grande registro em 2020 (em sua vertente digo que poderá facilmente ser Top 3).
Não pense em ouvir essas faixas como se estivesse conferindo um álbum simples... preste atenção em cada detalhe; tudo foi muito bem pensado, seus conceitos se aliam ao ótimo instrumental, os vocais se fazem da melhor forma possível e claramente têm uma atenção especial (um dos destaques para mim).
Como a própria Fabi havia me contado sobre sua influência da Disney; podemos sentir alguns temas aqui como canções que seriam facilmente inseridas em conceitos da grande marca americana que se dedica até hoje ao público infantil.
Nota 10 é o mínimo!

A few days ago I was able to have contact with the new Illumishade album in advance and in fact, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity provided by the team of the talented Fabienne Erni.
Today (15/5) "Eclyptic: Wake of Shadows" is being released and of course, with great expectations because the project has been very well developed for a few months.
I (Vinny) could have previously released the material with my opinions, but as I preferred to "digest" the beautiful and creative tracks better, I chose to release this review on the official date for the public.
First of all, I should mention how much the singles released previously filled me with pride, after all; how can you not be satisfied with the dedication and commitment of these excellent musicians ?!
The form and dynamics addressed here are from people who understand melodic structure, creative / accessible scales, and a great feeling in each performance.
I must say that Fabi is impeccable, her varied soft nuances show how much the vocalist deserves attention on the world stage, in fact, talent is something undeniable in her person (and after our interview and all the contact made; I can say that on the personal side this great perception is also present).
The album starts tense, epic climates, great moments orchestrated with mastery and Fabi with a great resourcefulness, a very positive point for his career, in addition to the production that exceeds the expectations of any demanding fan of the scene.
"Tales of Time" is one of my highlights, the track with several interesting moments, from its melodic side that addresses accessible, creative vocals, to a very cool duo that transits well the aggressiveness and sweetness, manages to remain well and efficient.
Remember the epic tones I mentioned? You can check out many of them in "What Have I Become" with its almost 6 minutes, full of vibrations and emotions that could easily be part of any series or film (naturally being a "soundtrack").
Some interludes complement the album very well, the approach catches the listener quickly and shows us how much this band needed to release a complete material.
Another track that I highlight is "Muse of Unknown Forces" for its energy, besides having a great cadence between the weight of the riffs inspired by the natural climate that the vocals make (a great balance between the high notes and the dense climate that they seek to have as base).
Of course, the singles previously released also deserve your attention, they are essential in the musical structure of Illumishase, being, therefore, a great range of options for refined ears.
In general, an album that works very well with the chosen songs and the care to keep so many rich melodies ... at times there seem to be so many "channels" of mix that you are "lost" in an immensity of sensations (and that I think great and interesting), a real work, and all this passes through the hands of each of the involved, because it is a great record in 2020 (in its aspect I say that it can easily be Top 3).
Don't think of listening to these tracks as if you were looking at a simple album ... pay attention to every detail; everything was very well thought out, its concepts are combined with great instrumental, the vocals are done in the best possible way and clearly have special attention (one of the highlights for me).
How Fabi herself had told me about her Disney influence; we can feel some themes here as songs that would be easily inserted in concepts of the great American brand that is dedicated to the child audience until today.
