Através de um contato via email pude conhecer o ótimo projeto Spoiler, e agora estamos trazendo para você, leitor, uma conversa com o baterista Danny Keene sobre algumas curiosidades.

1. A pandemia mudou a vida de muitas pessoas e também das bandas, principalmente porque os eventos foram cancelados. Como foi poder trabalhar neste projeto em meio a tudo isso?
É um duro golpe para tantas pessoas; todos nós temos que fazer algo para manter nossas mentes ocupadas. Temos sorte de poder enviar demos uns para os outros de casa, o que ajudou muito.
Quando pudemos, usamos nosso próprio estúdio para gravar tudo de uma forma que fosse segura para todos. Isso nos ajudou muito a manter o foco durante esta pandemia.
2. “Repress” é um ótimo single, coloquei rapidamente no meu playlist diário, é forte e intenso, algo que certamente fará a diferença para a banda. Como foi o processo de criação dessa faixa e o que você recebeu suporte após o lançamento?
Will é basicamente a sala de máquinas, você sabe.
Onde ele tem seu próprio estúdio, ele está o tempo todo. Ele manda ideias, nós mandamos as nossas - então entramos no estúdio e rastreamos.
O apoio tem sido incrível - quero dizer, para um single de estreia, acabamos de receber mais de 30.000 visualizações em 3 semanas e 1.000 reproduções do Spotify, é incrível.
3. A arte criada reflete algum conceito específico?Existe algum tipo de mensagem que você deseja transmitir aos seus seguidores com as músicas futuras que serão construídas neste projeto?
Não, realmente não, nós apenas inventamos algumas merdas, pense nisso, parece malvado e vai em frente! Quanto à composição, amamos escrever riffs sujos (com bateria forte), o que dá a Aaron algo para se expressar.
4. O vídeo divulgado foi muito bom e mostra uma dinâmica muito bacana dos músicos, e pelo que pude ler, várias pessoas falaram sobre a gravação.
Foi muito complicado registrar as imagens inseridas?
Você buscou alguma inspiração específica?
Fizemos um esforço consciente para ter a maioria de nós nas trevas, como uma forma de nos desviarmos de nossas velhas bandas e criar algo que nunca fizemos antes.
O resto da magia foi graças à Loki Films.
Encontramos um celeiro enferrujado e ele tirou algumas fotos aleatórias de diferentes áreas e detalhes ao nosso redor.
5. Outro fato que deve ser muito legal para você é que vários Youtubers estão reagindo ao vídeo e rendendo ótimos comentários ... vocês pretendem investir em novos conteúdos visuais? Hoje em dia, por exemplo, os vídeos líricos têm sido um bom caminho para produzir.
Sim, estaremos constantemente lançando conteúdo visual, vídeos com letras, visualizadores, bem como play throughs e cenas de bastidores. E apenas garantindo que as pessoas saibam 'estamos aqui e prontos para foder tudo!'
6. Recentemente vimos pela primeira vez em mais de 30 anos que LP vendeu mais que CD, porém, é muito mais caro e limitado, sem falar que existem apenas duas fábricas no mundo com matéria-prima para larga escala Produção.
Em um mundo com streaming, YouTube, ainda podemos pensar em lucros com materiais?eu sou um colecionador de DVDs, álbuns físicos, mas na minha vida diária o Spotify ajuda muito, mas e você?Como lidam? Você acredita que a mídia física vai resistir ao streaming e será lucrativo para todos algum dia?
Pessoalmente, acho que sempre haverá uma certa porcentagem de pessoas que irão querer a cópia impressa. Quero dizer, especialmente se você cresceu gastando seu dinheiro de bolso em CDs. Ao mesmo tempo, a música está lá com o clique de um botão, então é muito mais acessível.
Só lançamos o digital porque é mais fácil de espalhar em qualquer lugar do mundo. Mas tenho certeza de que cópias impressas estarão disponíveis em um futuro próximo, pois todos somos fãs de cópias físicas.
7. Cada um dos membros tem experiências interessantes em outros projetos e ser capaz de reunir tantas ideias é algo muito legal, então preciso perguntar: quais são as maiores influências para você poder focar o máximo possível?
Bem, ultimamente eu tenho ouvido Nothing de Meshuggah e continua me fodendo! Eu também sou um grande fã do Prodigy, assim como de outros fãs como Korn, Slipknot.
Todos nós viemos de origens diferentes, bandas diferentes, mas funciona tão bem! Todos nós temos ideias e funciona. De longe, esta é minha banda favorita com quem já toquei e mal posso esperar para ver o que o futuro reserva para nós.
8. Sou músico desde os 15 anos (hoje tenho 29, dou aulas de guitarra e baixo para iniciantes, além de trabalhar como redator em uma mídia que fundei há 4 anos), aqui Rock / Metal não é o meio popular de TV ou mídia, dizemos que estar nisso é por amor ao Rock. Na sua região, o suporte é o esperado ou frequentemente lutam para divulgação?
O Reino Unido tem algumas bandas incríveis em ascensão, mas de Essex, a cena ao vivo tem sofrido nos últimos anos. Esperançosamente, depois de tudo o que aconteceu este ano, as pessoas ficarão mais interessadas em ver música ao vivo.
9. Antes de terminar, gostaria de saber se você conhece ou gosta de algumas bandas aqui no Brasil?Pensa um dia tocando aqui ou até mesmo na América do Sul?
Temos fãs loucos por Metal.

Through an email contact I got to know the great Spoiler project, and now we are bringing you, the reader, a conversation with drummer Danny Keene about some curiosities.

1. The pandemic has changed the lives of many people and also the bands, mainly because the events have been canceled. How was it to be able to work on this project in the midst of all this?
It’s hit hard for so many people; we all have to do something to keep our minds busy. Lucky enough we are all fortunate to be able to send across demos to each other from home, which helped a hell of a lot.
When we were able to, we used our own studio to record everything in a way which was safe for all. It's helped us a lot to stay focused through this pandemic.
2. “Repress” it's a great single, I quickly put it on my daily playlists, it's strong and intense, something that will certainly make a difference for the band.
How was the creation process for this track and what have you received support after the release?
Will is pretty much the engine room you know? Where he has his own studio, he is at it all the time. He sends ideas over, we send ours - then we get in the studio and track it down.
The support has been incredible - I mean for a debut single we have just had over 30,000 views in 3 weeks and 1000 Spotify plays, it's incredible.
3. Does the art created reflect any specific concept? Is there a type of message that you want to pass on to your followers with the future songs that will be built in this project?
Not really no, we just come up with some shit, think it looks bad arse and go for it! As for songwriting, we love writing dirty riffs (with hard hitting drums) which gives Aaron something to express himself to.

We made a concious effort to have most of us in darkness, as a way to divert away from our old bands and create something that we haven’t done before. The rest of the magic was thanks to Loki Films.
We found some rusty old looking barn and he'd just grab some random shots off different areas and details around us.
5. Another fact that must be very cool for you is that several Youtubers are reacting to the video and yielding great comments ... given that, do you intend to invest in new visual content?Nowadays, for example, lyric videos have been a good way to produce.
Yeah we’re going to be constantly putting out visual content, lyric videos, visualisers, as well as play throughs and behind the scenes footage. And just all round making sure people know 'we're here and ready to fuck shit up!'
6. Recently we saw for the first time in more than 30 years that LP sold more than CD, however, it is much more expensive and limited, not to mention that there are only two factories in the world with raw material for large-scale production.
In a world with streaming, YouTube, we can still think about profits with materials? I am a collector of DVDs, physical albums, but in my daily life Spotify helps a lot, but what about you? I personally think there will always be a certain percentage of people out there that will want the hard copy. I mean, especially if you grew up spending your pocket money on cds. At the same time music is there at the click of a button so it’s much more accessible.
We only released digital because it’s easier to spread anywhere around the world. But I’m sure hard copies will be around in the near future as we're all fans of physical copies.
7. Each of the members has interesting experiences in other projects and being able to bring together so many ideas is something very cool, so I need to ask: what are the biggest influences for you can focus as much as possible? have you heard a lot of bands?
Well lately I’ve been listening Nothing by Meshuggah and it keeps fucking me up! I'm also a huge Prodigy fan, as well as the usual lot like Korn, Slipknot.
We all come from different backgrounds, different bands but it works so well! We all come up with ideas and it just works. By far this is my favourite band I have ever played with and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
8. I've been a musician since I was 15 (today I'm 29, I teach guitar and bass for beginners, in addition to working as a copywriter in a medium that I founded 4 years ago), here, Rock / Metal is not the popular medium of TV or media, we say that being in this is because of the love of Rock. In your region, support is as expected or they often struggle for disclosure?
The UK has some incredible up and coming bands, but where we're from in Essex, the live scene has been suffereing for the last several years. Hopefully after everything that has happened this year people will be more interested in seeing live music.
