Desta vez falamos com a banda suíça Chaoseum.

1 - Como você começou a banda?
Em janeiro de 2018, Loïc e eu queríamos criar uma banda com uma música feita para o palco. Pedimos a Greg para se juntar a nós. CK, nosso vocalista, veio mais tarde, após nosso primeiro álbum e nossa turnê nos EUA com Soulfly e Kataklysm.
2 - Pode o momento atual ser considerado o melhor da banda?
Não temos uma grande operadora, mas agora, temos um line-up fantástico com uma boa cumplicidade. Espero que possamos ficar juntos por um longo período e ter boas oportunidades.
3 - O que você diria da sonoridade?onde mais você se encaixa nas influências adquiridas?
O primeiro álbum soa entre o heavy e o metalcore. Nosso próximo álbum será lançado em 25 de setembro, é o primeiro álbum de estúdio com o CK. Parece bandas como Korn, Slipknot e Trivium. Trabalhamos com Gwen no Slab Sound Studio, ele fez um ótimo trabalho. Eu espero que você escute.
4 - Falando em processo de criação, quanto pensamento existe antes de criar um novo material. Existe um plano ou você deixa as ideias fluírem naturalmente?
Loïc e CK escrevem a parte principal e juntos terminamos as músicas. Fazemos uma escolha e mantemos nosso favorito.
5 - Você já pensou em tocar aqui na América do Sul Público no Brasil é muito apaixonado por música!
Claro, é um dos nossos próximos objetivos. Nosso cantor vem do Chile. Na Europa, sabemos que os fãs de metal na América do Sul são incríveis. Queremos tocar lá e espero ter uma oportunidade.
6 - Sabemos que o mercado musical não é mais o mesmo ... o que é preciso para se manter atualizado e relevante?
É claro que o século 21 é uma nova era para esse negócio. Você pode esperar o dia em que um grande empresário virá ao seu show ou abrirá seu caminho.
Tentamos a segunda solução, porque tenho certeza que a primeira nunca virá. Não temos apenas coisas ruins.
A Internet também oferece mais possibilidades.
7 - Você gosta da ideia de lançar vídeos em formato lírico? Prefiro um vídeo oficial de verdade com músico tocando a música. Mas gosto de ler as letras ao mesmo tempo.
Por isso, devo dizer que gosto de vídeo com letra.
8 - Terminamos aqui, o espaço é seu ...

This time we spoke to the Switzerland band Chaoseum.

1 - How did you start the band?
In January 2018, Loïc and I wanted to create a band with a music made for the stage. We asked Greg to join us. CK, our singer, came later, after our first album and our USA tour with Soulfly and Kataklysm.
2 - Can the current moment be considered the best of the band?
We have not a big carrier, but now, we have a fantastic line-up with a good complicity. I hope we will stay together for a long period and have good opportunities.
3 - What would you say about sonority? Where else do you fit into the acquired influences?
The first album sounds between heavy and metalcore. Our next album will be out in September 25th, is the first studio album with CK. It sounds like bands as Korn, Slipknot and Trivium. We worked with Gwen at Slab Sound Studio, he made a great job. I hope you will listen it.
4 - Speaking of creation process, how much thought is there before creating new material? Is there a plan or do you let ideas flow naturally?
Loïc and CK write the main part and together we finish the songs. We make a choice and keep our favorite.
5 - Have you ever thought of playing here in South America?Audiences in Brazil are very passionate about music!
Sure, it’s one of our next goals. Our singer comes from Chile. In Europe we know that metal’s fans in South America are incredible. We want to play over there and hope we will have an opportunity.
6 - We know that the music market is no longer the same ... what does it take to stay fresh and relevant?
Of course, the 21 century is a new era for this business.
You can wait the day when a big manager will come to your concert or make your way. We try the second solution, because I’m sure the first one will never comes. We don’t only have bad things. Internet give more good possibilities too.
7 - Do you like the idea of releasing videos in lyric format?
I prefer a real official video with musician playing the song. But I like to read lyrics in the same time. For this reason, I have to say that I like lyric video.
8 - We finish here, the space is yours ...
I hope everybody’s ok. Take care during this covid-19 period and don’t lose the habit of going to concerts when it will be possible again.
